Every day, first day of school is always about CMP. In addition to just reading them, or asking students to find answers, I've looking for some new ideas.
So I came across 2:
1. Scavanger hunt: Give students a list of questions about the syllabus. Make them find out what page, under what section, etc.
2. Jeopardy game (after reading the CMP), so probably end of day 1 or even day 2 activity. Some categories: school personnel, location (use map that the students can point to), policies, and actual content in the CMP.
3. Crossword puzzle about the policy
